Initial Consultation
We’ll sit down and discuss your training history, goals, obstacles, and lifestyle.
Ongoing communication and adjustments
Coaching shines in the support, feedback, and troubleshooting. Your program 1 year in will have evolved greatly from your first program.
Collaborative, long-term approach
We approach your training with the long run in mind, as this is where exceptional results happen. We’ll be in your corner to work through challenges and celebrate your success.
Initial Program Design
Based on the consultation, we’ll design the best possible starting point.
Each coach has 7+ years of coaching experience, holds advanced degrees in exercise science, and is an active strength & hypertrophy researcher.
He earned his Ph.D. studying how individuals uniquely respond to training. You’ll be in good hands.
Josh researches how to train smarter, not harder. But harder is smarter. Sorry.
He once spent 10 months prepping for a bodybuilding show and measured everything along the way.
His Ph.D. research involved some truly brutal training protocols. These days, he (usually) keeps it more manageable for his clients.

Messaging: regular question and answer, problem-solving, and form checks.
Check-ins: high-level reflection from both lifter and coach.
Data monitoring: we monitor key data to ensure progress is occurring and fatigue is in check.

Nutrition guidance is included in coaching as needed. Your coach will tailor the level of nutritional support based on your goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
Yes. Many clients also perform regular cardio to support their strength training and/or health goals. Some of our clients also have endurance goals, and while this is not our primary expertise, we are happy to assist.
Absolutely! We will ensure appropriate periodization leading into the meet, support you during the ups and downs of meet preparation, and guide attempt selection.
